Ryan, Founder & Companion

Ryan is committed to a sober lifestyle. His battle with addiction and depression culminated in a situation that gave him a second chance at life. This time, he started living with purpose. Ryan received a certificate in alcohol and drug abuse counseling from UCLA. As a credentialed substance abuse counselor. He then began leading group therapy and individual sessions at prominent rehabilitation centers in Malibu, California. In addition to founding AtHome Recovery, Ryan spends his time doing what he loves – music and fashion. He co-owns a private recording studio alongside Grammy-nominated music producer Andrew Bolooki. Ryan also collects vintage T-shirts and designs clothing and accessories worn by A-list clientele under his brand, Szechuan Market. His sober lifestyle enhanced the success of his creative pursuits.

Jamie, Companion

Having overcome mental health and substance abuse issues, Jamie is dedicated to ease others through their own sobriety journey. A proud valley girl from Sherman Oaks, CA, Jamie grew up around active addicts who struggled with sobriety. When her own addiction issues became apparent during Covid lockdown in 2020, she knew sobriety wasn’t just an option — it was the answer. From years spent babysitting children to caregiving for adults, Jamie is inspired to help vulnerable members of her community. As the primary caregiver to her sober father while he battled brain cancer, Jamie’s sensitive life experiences help her lead with compassion, care, and patience. Turning her past pain into a vibrant life, Jamie works as a comedy writer and credits her professional and personal achievements to her sober lifestyle.

Alicia, Companion

Alicia, an experienced sober companion living in Wilmington, NC, brings a wealth of expertise to her work in the recovery field. Having overcome addiction, Alicia offers a unique perspective and empathetic support to those in need. With a background that includes hands-on work in recovery homes and assisting in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Alicia has spent the past year dedicated to serving as a sober companion. Her personal experience with addiction allows her to offer steady guidance during times of crisis, drawing from her own journey of therapy, self-reflection, and integration into recovery communities. Celebrating her upcoming 8th year of sobriety, Alicia remains resolute in her mission to inspire resilience in others. Alicia's commitment to growth is evident in her academic achievements, where she achieved a 4.0 GPA throughout her educational journey. Recognizing the transformative power of recovery, she has returned to school to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, furthering her ability to support those on their own paths to sobriety.


Tyler, Companion

Tyler has spent most of his adult life searching for the most effective way for him to stay sober. He graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2016 with a Bachelors in Computer Science, and spent the next 8 years as a Software Engineer and touring Musician. After relocating to Los Angeles from the East Coast, he's found a heightened passion and focus on his sobriety, as well as the sobriety of others in his life.
